Ulysses field notes

This work is inspired by scientific illustrations. It is part of my incoming project: a series of illustrations based in Gerald Durrell's masterpiece, My family and other animals. 

I made this illustration trying to emulate what Theodore Stephanides, close friend of young Gerald Durrell, would have written in his notebook about Gerald's scops owl, named Ulysses.
